November Sumo Tournament!!!
Posted Image
Yokozuna Harumafuji

The November Sumo Tournament is at an end, and it was interesting as always. Finally with all three Yokozuna back with the four Ozeki it proved to be interesting with all these high ranked guys ready to go. Though how things would play out or how it would go provided to be interesting. Also I believe that it marks 10 years now since a Japanese wrestler hasn't won the tournament. Also the Chairman of the Sumo Association died during the tournament. Now let's just jump right into talking about the individual rikishi (wrestlers)

Yokozuna Harumafuji - On just the second day of the tournament Harumafuji lost to Osunaarashi (M1) and many of his fans began to worry since Harumafuji has never gone on to win the tournament when he losses in the first week. However Harumafuji went on to win the next twelve days in a row. In an amazing match between then undefeated Hakuho and Harumafuji, Harumafuji was able to perform great sumo and get the win thus tying the two Yokozuna and providing Harumafuji with the great opportunity to win. The next day he won over the other Yokozuna Kakuryu, who won last tournament. However Harumafuji lost on the last day which could have caused a playoff but luckily for him Hakuho also lost, thus Harumafuji won the tournament his 7th victory and the first time he's won in two years. Harumafuji provided some great sumo in this year when he's had trouble with injury especially his elbow. However in closing Harumafuji won the tournament 13-2, a very good record. Also note that Harumafuji took the previous two tournaments off due to injury.

Yokozuna Hakuho - For the first twelve days it seemed like Hakuho was back and ready to win again, and he won twelve straight days. People began to think that he would again win the Tournament with a perfect record. However Harumafuji won against him on the 13th day. However things didn't brighten up for Hakuho when he lost on the 14th day to Ozeki Terunofuji and then he lost again on the last day to fellow Yokozuna Kakuryu. Amazingly losing three days in a row. Hakuho ended up 12-3, still an amazing record though and runner up. Hakuho also displayed some interesting sumo, one match acting like a matador and played a cat trick as it is called. Perhaps he was just playing around and showing his versatility.

Yokozuna Kakuryu - Such a lack luster tournament for Kakuryu just after he won the previous tournament. It seemed like he was out shown by his fellow Yokozuna. He lost on day one to Yoshikaze, and things never really turned up for him too much. He did win against Hakuho which insured Harumafuji's victory. However Kakuryu only went 9-6 definitely not Yokozuna standards. However Harumafuji has gone 9-6 before as a Yokozuna. However it is still disappointing to see the Yokozuna with a low record, not to mention again that he won the previous tournament. I heard one say that this may be Kakuryu an up and down Yokozuna.

Ozeki Kisenosato - He got the best record from any of his fellow Ozeki with a 10-5 record. Kisenosato did for a good part stay up for the race for the tournament, but again failed to do so. However he did come away with a double digit win and had the best record out of the Ozeki. He also won against Harumafuji on the final day. Maybe 2016 will see Kisenosato winning.

Ozeki Kotoshogiku - This was his home town tournament, and did the fans love him. For the first five days he went without a loss and perhaps people started talking about him actually winning, though he lost on day 6 he went on for the next two to win. People talked about how he was in top forum, perhaps could win and was doing great. However the rest of the tournament was not as kind to him when he went 4 straight losses, followed by a win. However it was then that he had to pull out due to injury. Luckily he walked away after securing a winning record, and finished 8-6-1. Hopefully 2016 we see an on fire Kotoshogiku and perhaps see him win a tournament.

Ozeki Terunofuji - After getting injured in the closing days of last tournament Terunofuji decided to come to this tournament and not drop out. Things didn't go amazingly for him either in the following days having an up and down tournament and for a good part of it seeming to stay at x-x. However in the closing days Terunofuji did win against Kakuryu and Hakuho. In winning against Hakuho he helped to give his stablemate Yokozuna Harumafuji the same gift that Harumafuji had given him several tournaments back, helping him secure the win. So Terunofuji was able with an injury to finish 9-6, an alright record. Hopefully he will rest and come back in 2016 ready to go at top form.

Ozeki Goeido - He was on probation, meaning that if he got a losing record he would be demoted from Ozeki. Like Terunofuji he had an up and down record. At some points it seemed like he would he would get a losing record and at other times he seemed safe. He did win against two of his fellow Ozeki and the Yokozuna Kakuryu. However on the final day Goeido was just 7-7, going up against his big rival Sekiwake Tochiozan, and he won! Goeido secured his winning record on the last day, much like how Kotoshogiku did not too long ago. Perhaps Goeido with this will see that he needs to do Ozeki sumo 15 days of the tournament not just 8 or 9.

Sekiwake Myogiryu - Really just had a terrible tournament, going the final 10 days without a single win and finishing with a 2-13 record. He will see himself down the ranking and probably somewhere at say Maegashira 3 or so.

Komusubi Yoshikaze - Had a good tournament, though only going 8-7. He seemed like he was going to have an another amazing tournament when on the first two days he took down Yokozuna Kakuryu and Ozeki Kisenosato. Though he finished off with 1 win over a Yokozuna and 2 wins over Ozeki. He also got a special prize, the Technique - the most sought after one. With this Yoshikaze will definitely be going up to Sekiwake in January, and hopefully he can begin a push for Ozeki - where he will need around 33 wins over 3 consecutive tournaments. I hope that Yoshikaze can keep it up and perhaps we will see him as an Ozeki sometime in 2016.

Komusubi Tochinoshin - Unfortunately for Tochinoshin he didn't have a great tournament and only managed to get 7-8 wins, not that big of a losing record though so perhaps he will only see him down at say Maegashira 1 or so, which isn't that big of a fall. Though he probably will fall. Let's hope that next tournament he can do better.

Maegashira #4 Ikioi - Another amazing tournament from Ikioi, with a great record of 12-3, meaning double digit wins. Though he wasn't as much in the hunt for the tournament, he was able to do amazing work and get a great record, and for the second tournament in a row got the fighting spirit prize. Ikioi is doing very well and we will probably see him up at Komusubi in January. He's been a Komusubi once before but only for one tournament. Let's hope that Ikioi can keep up his great sumo in 2016.

Maegashira #4 Endo - It seems like Endo won't be the rikishi that everyone thought that he would be. Getting a terrible record of 4-11, he will be seeing him back down around Maegashira 8, maybe lower. He could bounce back quite well but we will have to see.

Maegashira #5 Sadanoumi - Oh Sadanoumi, getting another losing record unfortunately at 5-10 with double digit losses. Oh the pain, he will probably be finding himself around Maegashira 8 or so come January. I hope that 2016 proves to be a great year for Sadanoumi and that we can find him back up at higher ranks.

Maegashira #7 Kaisei - The Brazilian just for FS. He did well enough but had his moments where he just couldn't do it. Though he did end the tournament with a good 9-6. He will probably find himself up around Maegashira 3 or so.

Maegashira #10 Shohozan - Had a great tournament and people even began to think that he had a chance at winning the tournament, though unlikely the chance was there. He could have been involved in a play off, but just like the other leaders Yokozuna Harumafuji and Hakuho they all lost on the final day, giving the win to Harumafuji. But if Shohozan hadn't lost there would have been a play off. Though he still did very well getting 12-3 record with double digit wins and got the fighting spirit prize. Well done for him and he will probably be finding himself up around Maegashira 5 or so come January.

So that wraps up the November Basho, it was a good one - though the final day was probably a bit disappointing since everyone on the leader board lost and there was no playoff. Still though it proved to be a great tournament. In 2016 we will be looking for perhaps a Japanese rikishi to win a tournament and break the 10 year curse on Japan. Perhaps see a new Ozeki, and maybe more.

Libertarian Washington's favorite drink along with tea. I wonder if Jack Daniel's would be good with tea? Let's ask LW. Anyways if you can, get some Jack Daniel's and then drink it, and have fun.

State Senate Elections Start!!!
Posted Image
I honestly don't know what to put here.

Well the State Senate election is just starting up, after Secretary of the Interior Lewis and Daniel thought that he had no part to play in the election when he actually did. However things are now well underway and now the Secretary doesn't have anything to with election, as its all in State hands from here on out.

In the West the election seems to be coming down to Undefined Wet Land States of the Conservative Party and Tristannia of the International Communist Party. Since the West is a big Communist State and the President Pletamia has requested that no other Communist run, it seems like Tristannia will be elected and maintain the 1 Communist in the Senate. In the South though things are heating up in a way. Libertarian Washington, from the Otaku Party, is coming again to take back his senate seat from Regionia, of the Conservative Party, who is fighting to maintain it. Though many in and out of the state have already show massive support to Libertarian Washington, one person said "I endorse LW, for what's its worth. He's apart of the OP, a good friend, and a good senator." So far it seems like Libertarian Washington will win in a landslide, which would open up his existing seat - perhaps appointing a member of the OP and giving the OP the lead in the Coalition. In New England though things are gearing up for a competitive race against Incumbent Hunteiria of the Otaku Party and Speaker and Pepe Drakan of the new Alliance Party (though he will be running as an Independent because the AP only has him). However no clear winner has come forward and probably won't till election day.

The Alliance Party Comes Back
Posted Image

The Alliance Party, a left wing party that died off several months ago after only living for a few months itself, has returned. Brought back by the same Pepe Drakan on November 24, 2015. With its return the International Communist Party has in its convention debated on if they should approve of its existence, as perhaps it is the only other party that would put itself near the left. However other than that so far the the Party has seen no new members, and by law and tradition the party is not officially recognized as a party, just like the Potato Party. It is though unclear as to if the Alliance Party will take off, historically left wing parties don't last long - even if they have a huge boom in membership. This contrasts to Center and Right wing parties that tend to last much longer and are much more willing to work together. Now this could be disproven but it would take time, and lots of it. However if the Alliance Party can gain membership and perhaps have a coalition with the Communists then the left could provide, if anything a small opposition to the Otaku Party and the Conservative Party and their working coalition.

Department of the Interior Active as Ever
Posted Image

The Department of the Interior headed by Lewis and Daniel has been seeing tons of activity and work. Though Lewis and Daniel recently tried to resign, though he decided against it, it has been as active as ever. Under Secretary Lewis and Daniel's leadership 13 new emoticons have been added, the Hall of Culture and Cupcakes has been updated and got new pictures, a lot of terms now have descriptions for the first time, the first newspaper run by the government was launched and saw massive support, a poetry contest, and a recruitment contest. So much has been done and is being done thanks to Lewis and Daniel, including using his budget. The Secretary said in an interview with The Messenger that "There is still much to do, its only the start. I hope to have the region behind me when moving forward."

We hope that the Interior continues their great work for the region.

Chocotto Sister

Gearing up for the Holiday season we have Chocotto Sister!

The Story is about Haruma Kawagoe who has always wanted a little sister, but unfortunately didn't get one. Till one day for Christmas Santa comes and delivers him a little sister, Choco. Now he goes about living with his new little sister.

The Story is alight to good. This is mainly a slice of life anime, and for that it does very well, and the relationship between Choco and Haruma is well done. However the biggest downfall is in romance, it should have gone farther in it, but it is what it is. Other than that it proves to be a nice slice of life anime.

The Characters are good. While they are not the best, nor my favorite, they have their own unique charm to them and they are well done enough. True they could have been improve a good amount, but I still found myself liking them all, and for good reason.

The art is slightly older, as it aired in the mid 2000s. But I thought that it was good enough, and I didn't really have a big problem with it. Of course it could have done better, but I think that it did well enough for the show.

The music was eh. There is one key song that they keep playing and is apart of the anime and is the ending as well. For the beginning it is well enough, but soon it started to ware on me. Both the opening and ending weren't amazing, and I mainly skipped both of them. Though I admit the ending is better than the opening.

The voice acting, I watching the sub, was good enough - I thought that all of the characters were voiced well and I had not problems.

Overall I liked this anime, it had a lot of enjoyment for me, it was good! Though somethings aren't the best I think that together it provides to be a good anime, though it does have a lot of fan service, sometimes unneeded. It has some flaws, but I think that it is a good anime. My big problem with the romance, seems to be patched a bit with the manga that I haven't read. Anyways it was a good anime, and I enjoyed it.

Gangsta.

A different anime, name gangsta.

The story is about gangs, special people, and more in a city. Where Worick and Nick have their company solving problems and are out for hire.

The Story is alright, it sets itself up for something really good, but really falls flat in the end. The world building in this anime, was alright - it could have been much better and it could have divulged the rules the bind the special people. I feel like it falls flat of what it could have been. That said this is a weird anime, as in its very different from what I normally watch or know of.

The Characters are alright as well. Could have been better, but could have been worse.

The art is good, I think that it suits the anime well enough.

The music is alright. The opening gets old fast, and is weird. The ending wasn't special. Really the music isn't anything special.

The voice acting was good, watching the sub.

The ending was disappointing.

Overall I spoke little about it, because I really couldn't bring myself to type more. While it is interesting in the beginning and different ultimately is squanders this and falls flat of what could have been a pretty good anime. I am sure that some people will like it and will find much more enjoyment out of it than I. However I think that it just falls flat and is disappointing.

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled 1

This review can pretty much apply to the second movie as well.

The Story is set in the Code Geass world, at sometime in the timeline - I'm not sure. It is about the Europeans and their war with the Holy Britannian Empire, and surviving and stuff. It focuses again on Elevens and the Europeans, while also giving us insight into parts of the Empire.

The Story is eh, I mean interesting to a point but at first seemingly completely irrelevant to the original series. At one point I got mixed up and thought that the Europeans where actually Birtannians and spent an entire battle wondering why the Empire was fighting itself. The story though picks up more in the second movie, but I feel like it never gets anywhere special, nor holds the same charm of the original series. Also because it seems to be set well before the end of the original series, we get few answers.

The Characters are alright. They have there moments, but most other characters just fade well into the background - and you tend to forget about them. They could do better with those and they could also improve upon the main characters as well.

The animation is superb, super updated from the original series. It is very well done, and almost too much at points.

The Music is good. I noticed in the battle they seem to play jazz and before you know it when the battle is at its climax you notice what seems like a trumpet or so playing full blast and seems to over take and become forefront in the battle. I can't figure out if I like this or not. But other than that the music is alright, I had no problems with it.

The voice acting was good watching the sub. No problems, well besides being accustomed to watching the dub for Code Geass.

Overall these two movies fall short of the original series. They fail to captivate me like the original did. The best part of it though is the boobs, oh the boobs. Best part, by far - oh so good. Anyways the enjoyment of it for me was held to a point. Perhaps watching the other movies in this line will help to better develop everything and make it worth the watch. But as of right now I just don't feel like its worth it.

Biggest Election Remember-able!
Posted Image
Almost hard to swallow!

One of the biggest elections in recent memory has just taken place, with 17 candidates trying to win just 6 seats. In the election some very notable names popped out such as Free States and Lewis and Daniel, however many new and old members a like joined in the historic election. With 17 candidates ranging from several different parties and independents. It was a hard election and it was amazing to see who won. The winners were Britarvia, Free States, and CDLand all from the Conservative Party then Lewis and Daniel and Libertarian Washington from the Otaku Party, and finally Zachary Drakan as an Independent.

With this the Senate's composition has changed a good amount. With the Conservative Party gaining 2 seats to go to 4, the Otaku Party also gained 2 seats and rose to 3, the Death to Sanity Party lost all of their two seats, the International Communist Party stayed the same at one, and then one Independent was lost. With this no one party has achieved a majority in the Senate, with the closest coming in at only 44.4% (Conservative Party) and then the Otaku Party coming in second with 33.3%. While no majority has been achieved there seems to be a working coalition between the Conservative Party and the Otaku Party, so far named the Conservative Otaku Coalition. Such a coalition would achieve 7 of the 9 seats in the Senate and get them 77.8% a practical super majority.

We can start to see the working of this coalition as it elects Regionia Drakan the Conservative Party candidate as Chancellor and then elects Hunteiria of the Otaku Party Speaker along with Lewis and Daniel also of the Otaku Party Speaker Pro-tempore. A powerful coalition like this could prove to be very interesting if it is cemented more and continues on through the term. A super majority of 77.8% could achieve a lot of things that other parties couldn't.

However also interesting is the Classical Monarchist Caucus has achieved 3 of its members in the Senate with other people outside of the Caucus sympathetic to them. With a caucus like this in the senate with the super coalition it will be interesting to see how they will use it to their advantage as it seems like the best opportunity for them.

Amazingly the thing that most are looking at and are interested in is the coalition and how the parties will interact. Will this working coalition fall apart before it ever gets going, will it continue in this working state, or will it be cemented and more structured? It is unclear as of right now, but time will surely tell.

Holy Britannian Empire Rises!
Posted Image

Recently Buxton (the South) was involved in a two front war against the West and New England, called the First War for Britannia by New England. The South was beaten hard and in the midst of it had elections where by a narrow margin of just one vote a new governor was elect. That was RNS over Regionia (who had been running for re-election). RNS promised to bring peace, however for the first while that didn't seem the case with both New England and the West continuing to press deep into Southern territory as the South stalled for time.
However it didn't last and soon the South was on its last foot, with that the Pendragon Treaty was proposed to the Southern Congress. The treaty stipulated that the South would join in union with New England in a Holy Britannain Empire with King Lewis I of New England as Emperor, some counties switched hands, there would be a southern King, but other than that and a few other things the South would be able to govern itself.

It took a while but soon the South agreed and the treaty was signed by all parties and the First War for Britannia was over. With the Southern loss they are now in a bad but hopeful status. They are beginning reconstruction and have set forward a plan to do that and to gather in more residents of the South. While the union of the Holy Britannian Empire remains strong, New England came out of the war on top and because of their effort relations with the West are higher than ever. Who knows though what the South would have looked like if New England had never joined the war, perhaps it would have been solely in the palms of the West.

So far Emperor Lewis I of the Holy Britannian Empire has yet to name a King of the South, or even put in place a regent. The Emperor has also yet to name what he is calling his Small Council to help him govern the whole of the Empire. The things are expected to probably become reveled after the Regional elections finish. However in an exclusive interview with the Emperor we were able to get a few words about what he thought about the status of the Empire, to which he responded - "The Empire is doing well, and I have high hopes for it. With our Southern brothers we can now work to form a strong union between them and strengthen the Empire to new bounds."

There you have it folks, the Holy Britannian Empire rises, but it has limited powers as to what it can do as most of the power remains in the hands of the states. Now with the First War for Britannian over peace settles in the region. To mark the occasion Emperor-King Lewis I gave a speech as King of New England where he award some of his prominent subjects for their contributions to the war. He even awarded President Pletamia of the West for his efforts with the Pendragon Treaty and the war.

We here at The Messenger wish the best for the Holy Britannian Empire.

Lewis and Daniel Hits Milestones!
Posted Image

Lewis and Daniel, a citizen who has been in the region since June of 2012 and been in NationStates as a whole since about April 2010, has achieved two great milestones both in terms of The Allied States and in terms of anime. First on October 17th of this year 2015 Lewis and Daniel announced proudly that he successfully has recorded on MyAnimeList 100 days of anime watched. This has been a long road for LnD who has been watching anime for his entire life, though only got really into it hardcore in late 2011. These 100 days marks that it would take someone 100 days straight to watch all the recorded anime LnD has on his MyAnimeList (his profile name is Popapop2). However this does not mark anime he has not recorded, most notably Naruto. When asked why he didn't list it he said "I just can't be sure how many episodes I have watched of Naruto, though I suspect hundreds - I just don't want to falsely put in a wrong number." So in truth he probably achieved 100 days long ago, however it still is a wonder-us achievement. LnD says that his next goal is to have completed 300 anime (though this would include second seasons and the such if they had a break between seasons). LnD was super proud of the moment.

However that was not all he achieved in October as on the 20th he achieved his 10,000th post. In doing so LnD joins the exclusive club of those with over 10,000 posts and that club boasts only 5 members. LnD said that this is the first time he has achieved this great milestone on any forum. He said "It's only taken 3+ years to get here!" LnD went on to say that "I doubt that I will ever reach 20,000 posts, but maybe if you give me another 3+ years." After years of hardwork, LnD has arrived at a good place.

Also achieved around the same time was Lewis and Daniel reaching 100 reputation points, few have been able to get this far and it is another notable achievement that was amazingly reached all within the same time frame of two other great ones. The ball is rolling and all together an amazing achievement to add.

In all LnD has achieved three great milestones in his life. Congratulations!

Third Chancellor Elected!
Posted Image

After an intense and very close election in the Senate Regionia Drakan, as pictured above, won with the count going at 5-4 with Senator Hunteiria casting the deciding ballot to which she used to her advantage to force the candidates to post thoughts about her thoughts. Then as she cast her ballot it was on the condition that Regionia choose fellow candidate Zachary Drakan as his Vice Chancellor to which both agreed. Thus was elected our Third Chancellor, Regionia Drakan from the Conservative Party and from the South. Interestingly enough he is at least the second chancellor in a row from the South. As from being from the South Regionia Drakan is also the first Chancellor to be elected out of the Holy Britannian Empire, just barely a week after it was formed.

After being elected Regionia went to work by releasing his cabinet picks. Those being Britarvia Drakan as Chief of Staff, Free States as Secretary of State, Lewis and Daniel as Secretary of the Interior, CDLand as Secretary of the Treasury, and Gorbon as Attorney General. Interestingly enough all are from the Conservative Party, the Otaku Party, or are currently Independent.

In his cabinet are some big figures and notable names returning to offices they accelerated at, such as Lewis and Daniel returning as Secretary of the Interior most noted for his big drives in History and Culture. This is seeming up to be for the most part an A ranked cabinet. Though some might question one or so choices their thoughts have been put to the back burner, at least for now as they look forward to an excellent term.

However there is already a road block on their road, as Regionia Drakan holds is the South's Senator and he failed to get an At-large seat in just this recent election, meaning that he is up for election in just one month and could loose his seat and thus not be chancellor anymore. Even then the Senate might recall him after the election if they feel he isn't up to par. It is an interesting way of assessing his progress. Also noting that so far no chancellor as really served for more than a month or so, continuing on this. Is it a good trend or a terrible one? Who knows.

So we will be looking to see what can our new Chancellor do for this region?

Republic Day!!!
Posted Image
Celebrations underway (funny)

November 3rd marked the 5th anniversary of The Allied Republics, one part of the recent merger. Many of its members live on, and many consider this new region merely a name change. This as many say the spirit lives on and also as old TARs and old TASs still bring up a rivalry that may or may not exist.

However this is a monumental achievement for the region, 5 years The Allied Republics has been around. Already people have gone out into the streets to party. This has caused many streets to shut down, and no one was able to control the celebrations as it was a Regional holiday and everyone went home for the day as they didn't work. However many celebrated well into the next day, and the day after that as well. Music played and stories were told.

More should have been done by the regional government though to celebrate Republic Day as it also was the 5th anniversary of TAR. Some are already throwing blame at Chancellor Regionia and also some even former Chancellor CDLand for not preparing for the day in advance as it meant a lot for members of old TAR.

However silent toasts were given as they sang out the day as a Regional holiday. Happy Republic Day!

Kimagure Orange☆Road

An anime from the late 1980s (1987-88).

The story is about Kyosuke, an indecisive teenager, who has esper abilities (teleportation, levitation, etc.) called the Power, it runs in his family and it must remain a secret else they will have to move town again (though his family doesn't care about keeping it as secret as he does). In this town he meets the happy-go-lucky and ever cheerful Hikaru who almost instantly falls in love with him and then Ayukawa, Madoka who at first meeting is sweet but then is hard and cold to the outside world. Thus begins their adventures in this slice of life, romance, comedy, etc. etc. anime.

The Story is interesting and good. It is much more than your average slice of life anime as Kyosuke and family have magical powers. At times it can be dry and nothing really happening. However in the overall picture it comes across as a good anime with a nice story and it really focuses in on the characters at hand. Though I must warn that there are some really frustrating moments, as to be expected from a love triangle and you ship someone.

The characters where is really shines. At first you might think that they are just simple characters, tropes, or something. That might be true at first, however over the course of the anime they start to make themselves and develop into something of their own. The characters by the end have developed so much, especially when you look back on it all. So development is definitely there, and though some of the side characters develop it is not as much as the main ones.

The art is old, but it is good, I liked it and I don't think that it is a minus at all. It has for the most part aged well and doesn't subtract or look awful.

The music is great! From most of the opening and endings to just the background music. It really harks back to the 1980s period, I think, and creates some great songs, and I believe some that are themes and keep coming up. In all it was good and I have found myself listening to songs from it.

The Voice acting was good, as I watched the subbed version (I don't know if there is a dub), however it was well done and the voices melded together. No complaints.

Overall it was a very good anime that I very much enjoyed. Sure there are some frustrating moments, and I took a big break in the middle, but in the end I liked it. The ending was good, I though that while it didn't completely wrap up everything it left you that things were for the most part resolved. In all this is a good anime and I enjoyed it and I do recommend it.

Yotsuba&!

Yotsuba&! This is the first time I am actually doing a Manga review for you all. Here is my favorite manga!

The Story is about Yotsuba a four or five year old who is experiencing the world. She was adopted by her dad and they just moved to a new town. Here she will live her life with her new neighbors, her dad, and other people she will meet along the way. She is hyper, curious, and a child.

The Story as you might have seen is slice of life and comedy, both of which it does amazingly. It is a wonderful story, I mean there really isn't much plot or deep story, but to just see Yotsuba interact with the world around her, and the comedy is so funny. There really isn't deep plot, I mean there is story but remember that it is slice of life. All that said it is good.

The Characters are great. From Yotsuba to everyone, they each are unique and are themselves. There is some character development, but it isn't like earth shattering, though it is there as Yotuba learns more, and people interact with her. So the characters are good, and are a central factor to the manga. Oh yeah, you can kind of ship one or two, but that's not really dwelled on too much.

The art is very well done, I thought that everything looked nice and it is all of good quality for the most part. I enjoyed it and don't have any real complaints about it.

The music. Oh the music, you can hear it right now.... that's right there is no music because its a manga.

The voice acting. Well the voices I associate with them or give them is good?

Overall this is my favorite manga, not that I've read a lot. The enjoyment is through the roof, you can't complain. It is just a great series as we see Yotsuba and gang. I love it, and should too.

The September Sumo Tournament
Posted Image
Yokozuna Kakuryu

This was both an exciting tournament filled with opportunity for so many wrestlers and one that also is errr. I am here to talk about many key rikishi (wrestlers) and those that I like along with anything else sumo related.

Yokozuna Hakuho probably the number one sumo wrestler today after loosing two matches in a row pulled out of the tournament citing an injury and not having the vigor to pull through, thus ending like the last 8 or so years of him not having to pull out. Some speculate that the injury is fake and that Hakuho pulled out to save face after loosing twice in a row. However others are confident that Hakuho truly has an injury because of his record of not being injured before and being who he is. However with Hakuho gone this opening up a bright light for all the other wrestlers to try and win the tournament. Though Hakuho was injured it is expected that he will return in November.

Yokozuna Harumafuji pulled out again to make sure that his elbow is in top condition. He pulled out last tournament in the middle of it because he hurt his elbow, that already gives him some problems, and so to be safe he pulled out again to rest it up and make sure that he is in the best condition. More than likely he will be returning in November though. Also with Harumafuji gone it also adds even more to the opportunity of others to win with two of the three Yokozuna gone.

Yokozuna Kakuryu the winner of this tournament, coming in at 12-3 and after having won the playoff against Ozeki Terunofuji. With the other two yokozuna out of the tournament expectations were high on Kakuryu to win and do well not only because he was the sole yokozuna but also because he has yet in 8 tournaments as a yokozuna to win the tournament (compared to like the last three or so yokozuna usually win a tournament in like 2 tournaments). So pressure was on Kakuryu to do well and this was a great opportunity for him to do so, and he pulled it off and won and this is his second tournament win. However some fire has been thrown at Kakuryu because he used henka (dodging/sidestep at the start of the match) three times in the tournament, with two of those three being in his match against Ozeki Kisenosato. Though Kakuryu didn't win with henka the fact that he still did it remains. Most people see the Yokozuna as well above henka which is sometimes seen as a cowards way, especially going up against a worthy and key match against an Ozeki. Some though think that henka even used by an Yokozuna is a fine way of doing things. Some (people in the youtube comment section) are calling him a terrible yokozuna and not living up to the honor of the rank. So he now has that to wear, and who knows how Kakuryu will perform in the November tournament with hopefully both of his fellow yokozuna back in full power.

Ozeki Terunofuji lead the pack for most of the tournament and after a while many thought that he would win it all, however everything changed when he lost two times in a row and then injured himself. However he refused to pull out of the tournament and went on to loose again, to make it three times in a row. However he had fallen out of the lead when he went into day 15, the final day, and he had to win twice again yokozuna Kakuryu while injured. However he amazed many when he beat Kakuryu in regulation and a playoff had to be done. However it was unfortunate for Terunofuji as he lost in the playoff to Kakuryu and became runner up to the tournament. However overall it was a great tournament for Terunofuji this was only his second tournament at ozeki and he performed great and was runner up. However Terunofuji in the greater scheme of things might have hoped to win this tournament so that he might set himself up to win the November Tournament so that he might be promoted to Yokozuna. However even though he lost, sometimes the Sumo Association counts being a runner up. So if he did win November, hopefully with all three yokozuna back, would be harder for him or anyone else. However just looking at it he played his part as Ozeki and did well and scored double digit wins and was a serious contender for the cup.

Ozeki Kisenosato had a good tournament and at the same time didn't. On the one hand he got double digit wins at 11-4, he was a contender for the cup through most of the tournament, and he did well. On the other hand Kakuryu pulled a double henka on him, and he once again didn't win the cup. Kisenosato who has been a runner-up about 8 or so times has never won a cup, and is usually seen as Japan's greatest hope to win the cup and end the 10 or so year period of a Japanese wrestler not winning. This was also a golden opportunity for him to win with two of the three yokozuna out. He stayed in the running be it one off the pace or two or so for most of the tournament and had a good chance of winning, however in the end he lost. Some people think that if he couldn't win here that he will never win, while others do believe that he could win despite it. He has been an Ozeki for almost 4 years, and out of those 4 years he only had a losing record once, so he still is as an Ozeki doing well. However in the end he didn't win and will have to try harder in November.

Ozeki Kotoshogiku had an amazing comeback. After just barely escaping demotion last tournament on the last day getting the needed 8 wins this tournament he comes back and shows what's he's made of like almost nothing happened. He got double digit wins at 11-4, performed well, and was even in the running for the cup for a bit. That said he wasn't always in the running for the cup. However the only rank and filer he lost to was Yoshikaze who even then was at M1 and had an amazing tournament. Overall it seems to show that Kotoshogiku is right back on form.

Ozeki Goeido unfortunately didn't have a great tournament and got a losing record of 7-8 and will be katoban (probation) next tournament meaning that if he doesn't get at least 8 wins in November he will be demoted from Ozeki. Getting his winning record next tournament could prove very hard for Goeido if all three yokozuna and fellow ozeki are in it. Goeido will have to fight hard if he wants to retain his rank. However he could pull it off.

Sekiwake Tochiozan had an amazing tournament last time (10-5 and took down some top ranked guys), and coming into this one he wanted to get double digit wins hopefully coming into 11 or 12 so that he could also get double digit wins in November and hopefully get promoted to Ozeki. For the first part of the tournament things seemed to be going his way and looked like he might even be a contender for the cup again, until day 6 when he lost against Ichinojo and then lost 4 days in a row, going into day 10 at 5-4. While he did win on day 10 to move to 6-4 and still had a glimmer of hope but the rest of his tournament didn't go well and he only scraped by at 8-7 still a winning record and still good for sure. He will pretty much have to start all over in November to make an Ozeki push.

Komusubi Tochinoshin had an amazing tournament. He has finally risen back to the rank of Komusubi and achieved his first winning record in sanyaku with double digit wins at 10-5 an impressive display by a Komusubi. He hopes to get promoted up to Sekiwake however both Sekiwake achieved winning records of 8-7 meaning that they would have to make a new spot for Tochioshin which they may very well do considering his impressive and got the fighting spirit prize. In the tournament Tochinoshin showed amazing strength as on several occasions he lifted his opponent up and then out of the ring. Some people are even speculating that he may very well be the next Ozeki instead of Tochiozan.

Maegashira #1 Yoshizake had the best tournament of his life. He rocked in with double digit wins at 11-4 however those wins are something else he won against two yokozuna, two ozeki, two sekiwake, and one Komusubi. He got two kinboshi for defeating the yokozuna which are lifetime raises, and because of his sumo and excellence in the tournament he got two of the three special prizes those being the Technique prize and the outstanding performance prize. Many were shocked with Yoshikaze this tournament and he will be going up to Komusubi in November most certainly. Many people are wondering if he will be able to do a repeat performance in November as well.

Maegashira #2 Sadanoufuji had a terrible tournament he had straight loses for 13 days in a row and then luckily won his final two to come in at a 2-13 record. Unfortunately for Sadanoufuji he will be going far down the banzuke come November and will probably be in Maegashira #10 area, at least I would say.

Maegashira #2 Osunaarashi, the Egyptian, had a good tournament coming in at 8-7 and will probably find himself up at Maegashira #1 come November. This rank was an all time high for him and so next tournament he will have a new all time high. Some like Osunaarashi because he has his own style of sumo and like to watch him because they are entertained, while others not so much. Some say that he is too young and headstrong and that is the main reason he loses most of his matches.

Maegashira #3 Sadanoumi didn't have a great tournament unfortunately and broke his habit of getting a winning record, then a losing record, then a winning one. As he has now two losing records in a row as he clocks in at 6-9. If only he had a bit more power and strength perhaps he would be able to more consistently win. He will be finding himself further down the bazuke come November probably around Maegashira #5 or so, that is what I would guess.

Maegashira #5 Kaisei the Brazilian (yes I am only talking about him for FS). He didn't have a great tournament coming in at 6-9, though he did win against one Ozeki (Goeido). He started out the tournament bad with 4 straight loses as well. With his losing record he will probably find himself at around Maegashira #9 or so.

Maegashira #7 Endo, the popular rikishi, had an alright tournament coming in at 8-7 and will probably find himself up at Maegashira #4 or so, I'd say. This is as he tries to move back up the banzuke after his fall to do injury and lose earlier this year.

Maegashira #12 Ikioi had an amazing tournament coming in at 11-4 with the fighting spirit prize. He was actually in the running for the cup for a long time as on day one he won and then on day 2 he lost only to win the next 9 days in a row. Since he was in the running for the cup, they brought him up to face much higher ranked opponents not only to test him but also to justify him winning the cup if he did do so. He ended up not doing so hot against those guys, however he still walked away with a great record of 11-4 this is all after last tournament where he went a terrible 11-4.

Obito Resigns as Chancellor
Posted Image
Former Chancellor Obito Giving his Resignation Address

In a speech given on the steps of the Chancellery Obito, former President of The Allied Republics, resigned saying that he just couldn't work with the Senate or the Government. He cited saying that he just doesn't have the power like the Fuhrer and didn't even have the power to support that all female officers wear tiny miniskirts. He also went on to say that the Senate just isn't likable and are just about like homunculus and that they all want human life or anything, and went on to say "I have come to the conclusion that one useless man is called a disgrace, that two a law firm, and three or more become a senate. And by God I have had this senate" (*Disclaimer he may or may not have said this). Also citing the way the Senate works just isn't good.

However going on in his speech Obito said that the region is moving in scope, that the merger isn't working out right, and that people from TAS are taking over and how TAR made too many cessions to them in the merger. Also going on to how the region feels different. These things or at least similar ones have been found in the posts of many former TAR citizens who have left, all citing that they don't feel vested in the region any more, that it doesn't feel the same. Even Lewis and Daniel was quoted with saying "Not going to lie this region feels very foreign at times." To which he received three thumbs up. Perhaps Obito is coming on a similar trend and theme, that old TAR citizens just don't feel like the place is the same anymore, and many are leaving as a result. Some though are sticking around at least for now such as Lewis and Daniel, Obito, and Free States. However one wonders about it all as so many are citing similar lines and phrases.

However before Obito left the stage he gave three warnings that the forum economy couldn't work, to beware of Regionia, and that the merger won't last. These have been debated like how the forum economy works to a degree, or what would we do if the merger didn't work? Most debated though was Regionia's part in all of this as well as others, with words thrown at Obito, Regionia, and other people.

Some people agree with Obito, some people don't agree at all, some are in the middle. It is hard to say though right now where the region will go one way or the other. Only time can truly tell what will happen, and I must say that time talks very slowly.

Messenger TV Launches
Posted Image

On September 27th, 2015 The Messenger with its parent company North Republic Industries launched Messenger TV, perhaps the first true TV station in the region. The Messenger is expanding its brand and company even further proving to be a strong media company. Messenger TV hosted by Lewis and Daniel who also happens to be Editor-in-Chief of The Messenger. Already the program has put forward two episodes as pilots to try and judge the waters and feel of the market for the station, and reaction to them was pleasant and well received. To which Messenger TV was approved for two more episodes to be aired, which have started production.

Lewis and Daniel, host and director of Messenger TV, was quoted with saying "Depending if Messenger TV continues to air it could achieve great heights and new legend." He went on further in the full length interview to say "Messenger TV is trying to tap in and build in a corner of the media industry that is really quite virgin." In the same interview Lewis and Daniel was asked if he purposefully allowed Messenger TV to be shortened to MTV, to which he responded with "No, quite honestly I had no clue until I was shouting in the box about how it and thought that I might try to shorten it like You shorten North Republic Industries with NRI. Little did I know that it would be MTV so I backed up and just went full on Messenger TV."

As of right now Messenger TV's first two episodes have been revolving around the life of its host Lewis and Daniel in the "real world." However Lewis and Daniel hopes to talk about more things including things happening in the region with politics, economy, and all that. Also he wants to go into things like anime, movies, and other things. He too wants suggestions on what else to produce.

As of right now Messenger TV seems to be rating well and production goes well and has two more episodes in the works. So at least for now we can expect the newest edition of TM and thusly NRI to be around for a bit longer. Who knows where else this program will go and what it will do, though it does have some limitations and NRI has been quoted with saying that The Messenger is still our number one product and that Messenger TV will not take over the normal newspaper.

Garden of Words / Kotonoha no Niwa

Kotonoha no Niwa or Garden of Words is a movie by Shinkai, Makoto most famous for his other movies 5 Centimeters per Second and The Place Promised in Our Early Days, though he has many other works.

The Story is about two people one is a young boy who wants to become a shoemaker and an older lady who seems like a mystery. The two meet up every time it rains in a park and start to learn more about each other as they grow closer to each other.

The Story is good, but also foggy in that we are gaining what is seemingly glances at each of them in their time, I don't know. This isn't a huge action story but a nice little love story about finding yourself, striving for your dreams, age gap, and perhaps more. However more could have been done in key areas of the story to make it even better.

The Characters, well really there are only two characters all the others are very minor to the point where they play almost no role what so ever. This is truly a story of these two characters, and as characters well they pass. They are interesting, human, and unique as well. While there is a bit of development in them and we learn abit about them, but when looking back they aren't the strongest nor the most fleshed out characters in the world.

The Art, perhaps the strongest part of this film. The art is so amazing and brilliant that you are left in awe at every scene almost especially in the park. From the backgrounds to the main focus everything seems well crafted and done, as water drops fall and splash to the visuals. It is just wonderful masterpiece I think in visuals and art.

The Music does well to immerse you in its world and the visuals. It really adds to the atmosphere and is well crafted. I cannot really remember a particular song or melody in remembrance, however listening back on the ost I do find myself enjoying it and its beauty. So overall it boast some good music, though nothing very rememberable I'd say.

The Voice Acting for the sub was very well done, I have no problems with it and thought that it was quite nice in fact.

Overall the movie is good, though at times it perhaps might remind you of your current crush and romance. The ending was both satisfying and at the same time not, it really is conflicting - however safely for all those who were scared by 5cm/s fear not isn't not like that. So the ending really is like just leaving off at a moment like "what happens in the future then after that thing that just happened!" Anyways for enjoyment I say that it was fairly enjoyable. overall though it was a good movie, not the best, but surely not the worst.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has become a classic or at least a standard among anime fans, or at least I think it has. Now before I get into the review there are two main ways of watching this anime with its two seasons - broadcast order which is the episodes in a seemingly random order to enhance the randomness of it and then there is chronological order which is all of the episodes in the order that they make sense in.

The Story is about Kyon who is also our narrator. Ever since he was kid he never believed in the supernatural. Come along Haruhi Suzumiya who totally believes in the supernatural. The two gravitate to one another like two magnates and fun ensues as they create a club to spread joy and find these supernatural beings such as espers, time travelers, and aliens.

The Story is good, I really like it. It is a slice of life anime mixed with comedy, hits of romance, parody, sci-fi, and some other things as well. The story is good, and also it is life so there is that. However it does more than just that as well as it puts in these sci-fi and supernatural things. It creates an interesting set up however there is indeed a plot, that I wish would at times go deeper or be more relevant. However the story is good. However I must warn you that there is an arc, an infamous arc, known the anime world round. The Endless Eight arc, known because it is pretty much 8 straight episodes of the same thing. It is the same day over and over again. Like groundhog day. You might be tempted to skip this, however you must watch it. I recommended at least once for everyone. Trust me.

The Characters, oh yes! They are wonderful. At least for me I can find myself relating to Kyon on so many things, and of course disagreeing as well. However I find Kyon to be such an amazing character, as his Haruhi, and the other members of their club. They each have character to them and are at points developed well, though you might not always notice it. However I still feel that there is plenty of development except for perhaps finding out Kyon real name. All in all great characters.

The Art is great. Wonderful, nicely done. No complaints here.

The Music is great. Both the openings and the endings are wonderful and are very rememberable. The regular music is good as well though I can't say it is as rememberable or noteworthy however when you hear it again it does click. Still good.

The voice acting for the English dub is wonderful, the voices go so well together and are very well done. High praises.

Overall this is a wonderful anime that I highly enjoyed and must recommend to everyone, not only because it is a good anime but also because it being a staple to the anime fandom. That being said I wish there was say more romance and I'm sure you could probably find some other flaws. However I liked it.

Bartender

Bartender - A 2006 anime.

The Story is about a Bartender who makes some of the best cocktails in the world. Many people come into his bar, and Sasakura goes about helping out their problems. Each episode goes into someone else's past and problems.

The Story is very good, each episode you learn something else. It is a pretty much episodic anime, much like Mushishi. It is nice and calm while Sasakura gives wonderful advise while making amazing cocktails. You will learn much about being a bartender, to people, to cocktails. All while you are presented with a great story.

The characters are great. Though most only have one real episode they are fleshed out so well and developed so nicely. Some come back here and there. All in all Sasakura is an amazing character and one of my favorites, because of how he is. The characters are well done, fleshed out, and develop well.

The art is well done, it is some solid animation. I can't complain as it looks good, though I wouldn't say that I was blown away or it's the best. However it is very well done.

The music is well done, the op is good, though I ind the ending better. With all of the other music fits so well as its just well done and connected. Well done. I can't say its super rememberable, however here that doesn't hurt it.

The Voice acting for the sub was well done. I thought that voices fit well and blended to make strong characters.

Overall this is a great anime. One that is nice and clam, and teaches you as well. I very much enjoyed this anime for all that it had. Not to mention all the quotes you can get from it, so take out some paper and pen so that you can write them all down. The ending was well, eh. I don't know. However on the whole this is a great anime.

Who I Like On YouTube
Posted Image

This article I thought that I would go through some of my favorite YouTubers and give my take on them, what I like about them what I might not. Just anything really. I thought that it would be a good article so here it is, I will group them into kind of categories for you.

Japan
Abroadin Japan --- Great channel about Chris Broad who was a JET for 2-3 years in Japan and is still currently in Japan for the time trying to build a media empire. He has many useful videos for those wanting to go to Japan both for JET and anything, such as tips, instructions, and more. However he also expands over and makes a lot a videos that deal with culture in Japan and things about it, he also has done interesting places and really his experiences in Japan. He is hilarious, absolutely, even if your not interested in Japan or JET I still highly recommend his channel

Daniel Zacarias --- I just started watching him and to be fair he doesn't have a lot of video but what he does have so far is designed to give his experiences and tips about living in Japan and the JET program. He really helps give some good tips and his experiences are neat to listen too.

Myargonauts Jason --- Jason was a JET for the maximum 5 years and then after a break went to become an English professor at a Japanese college. His videos are a variety, he has a great series about the JET program giving advise on how to apply, how to prepare, and so much. He gives videos on his teaching, and some of his experiences and vlogs. One of my favorite videos that he puts out are his driving videos where he is just driving in Japan while talking. Lately though he has made the switch to podcasts where he really talks about anything from movies to anything. He has some great videos and I really like them.

Sharla in Japan --- Just recently subbed to her and she seems to share more of her experiences in Japan than anything else. But I haven't dived too deep into her channel, that said what I have seen is good.

Sumo
Jason's All-Sumo channel --- Same Jason as before, however here he is filming the top sumo matches most days in HD. He puts out videos when ever the sumo tournament starts, and sometimes has some contests. His videos are great for their length in showing more than just the action while he also gives his own commentary and also plays the English commentary form NHK.

Kintamayama --- Here he posts Sumo videos but puts up only the action, that said he does all of the matches in the top division in one video. So you get to see everyone but the quality isn't as good as Jason's videos. He also puts up subtitles for his remarks and to tell what wrestler is who.

Anime
Lord Peothra /Peothra -- The Fat Jerk, he is an anime reviewer who is really good. He gives pretty good reviews of anime but they aren't elaborate. He is just basically talking to the camera and going through all the major aspects of the anime and talks about somethings more in depth. Now he had problems with YT and blip because of claims which is a damn shame, not all of his videos are still up but those that are are good. He isn't active currently but he said that he would be getting back into it soon.

Glass Reflection --- Much more elaborate now a days. He gives good reviews of anime and goes in depth with a lot of things, and has his own preferences and the such. There are somethings of his I'm not fond of and others that I like, but he is active and overall gives good reviews.

The Anime Man --- I haven't dived too deep into all that he does, but he puts up a lot of videos, not many anime reviews but more on other anime things and games and stuff I think. He talks about anime issues and makes some funny videos. He seems alright.

Did You Know Anime --- Gives fun facts and triva about anime shows. Some facts are very interesting while others pointless meaningless and the such.

Video Games
Angry Joe --- Great, I love Angry Joe's game reviews they are so well done and in depth and he goes all out to talk about them and makes it entertaining in the process, even his much older reviews. He gives great points, tries to show his points, and also sometimes reenacts them. He is sometimes angry which can be funny and tries to stand up to gaming companies for terrible practices. Recently he hasn't been doing as many reviews but more twitch streams and other things like impressions and things. He gives great interviews for the most part and has a great channel most of the time.

JonTronShow --- JonTron is hilarious, he seems to be more intent with making you laugh than reviewing games - though he does do that in part - however he is just funny. His videos are great for the most part, and he even does some non game things once in a while. Very funny is you can go watch some complied reactions of Jon and they are hilarious.

PeanutButterGamer --- Ah PBG, great channel with really funny videos. He tried to get a balance of review and comedy, I feel. He mainly goes for games, has gone off and done some game related things. He likes Zelda, Harvest Moon, and more. Some of his newer videos I'm not as fond with like his older ones, I'm not sure why though.

ProJared --- Can be funny but seems more interested in giving you a review than anything else. He mainly focuses on RPGs but more JRPG like than western RPGs. He does other reviews too, and his videos are good even if I won't play the game.

Lazy Game Reviews --- Very funny and gives great reviews and looks. He really like the Sims, DOS games, and other things. He does thrifting videos which I really like, and more. He puts out some great videos and some interesting ones like company history, oddware, hardware, and more. I really suggest checking him out because there's more to meet the eye.

Yandere Dev --- The developer of Yandere simulator, he has this voice, this voice that's just something. Anyways it is interesting to stay up todate on yandere sim.

ZeromasterReviews --- While he reviews games he also does a lot of toys and other things as well, like anime once in a blue moon it seems. He does put out some good videos and is a small channel but some of his things don't interest me.

DidYouKnowGaming? --- Gives fun facts and trivia about games which can be very interesting at times and just so meaningless at others.

PushingUpRoses --- A friend of LGR. I haven't dived too deep with her but she is good giving some good reviews but also some good LPs.

Music
LeeandLie --- She does full song dubbing, I believe, of anime songs from Spice and Wolf to Sword Art Online. She has a good voice and puts out some great song dubs.

Sapphire --- Much more selective about what gets a full anime dub song, most of her's are short like opening short at 1.30 minutes. However she still has a good voice and puts out good dubs.

Smooth McGroove --- He does acapella versions of game songs, mainly game songs. He is really good as he does all the parts and you can see that with each of his faces. He also likes his cat which shows up every episode. He also has done a few parody songs which are really good.

Taylor Davis --- Does violin versions of a lot of anime and video game songs. She is very good too.

Nonononoki --- Does piano versions of anime songs.

Garud Amano --- Inactive to beat it, but did put up a lot of beautiful anime songs.

Movies
Cinema Sins --- I avoided them for a while because I thought that they would try to make me hate my favorite movies but that is not. They point out flaws in movies like oh, saying you can't open a cage with magic but the key is in the slot already. Very funny things sometimes.

League of Super Critics --- Mainly only for the Nostalgic Critic who is very good and goes really in depth. However he walks you through almost the entire movie giving so many spoilers and the such that Its hard to watch for anything that you want to watch yourself. However if you've already watched it or not wanting to or something then he gives some good videos.

Other
thechesswebsite --- They can really help your chess game, however it can be really hard to adapt their movies because most of them require your opponent playing to an exact point and way, which most people I have played against don't do, plus memorization. But if you can adapt some of the strategy and learn some of these they can really help.

Tpindell --- makes some funny videos.

Yellow Productions --- Travel videos. He's alright, sometimes creepy and the such but gives some short nice videos of places. You wonder how he does it, travel to all these places.

LIBERTY NEWS IS NOW HIRING!!!

The Otaku Party
Posted Image

A revival is happening in the Otaku Party just as long time Chancellor Lewis and Daniel has wanted. They recently got on Senator Libertarian Washington and new citizen Gorbon, and were able to wake up a few of their older members. Now that they their base is awake and ready Chancellor Lewis and Daniel has opened up elections for party offices that was overdue for some time. However this time Chancellor Lewis and Daniel who has been chancellor of the party since its formation in March 2014 has decided not to run for another term as Chancellor. He said in an exclusive interview that "I had been planning to step down for a while now, and let newer blood take over, but I was always asked to stay. Now that it is clear others are willing to take the torch, I am willing to pass it on."

Lewis and Daniel who had been Overlord of the Imperial Democratic Party (the predecessor of the Otaku Party) from January to March 2014 and then Chancellor for the Otaku Party since then has worked with 1 vice overlord and 4 Vice Chancellors in his time and over seen many achievements of the party like holding the majority in the senate for several consecutive month and served as Majority Leader as well. He oversaw two Otaku Presidents get elected back to back and worked hard to make the Otaku Party what it was. Now he says "It is time I help, that is why I am running as Vice Chancellor instead."

However when asked what he wants for the party Lewis and Daniel said "I want to see the Otaku Party back as the majority int he Senate and then for it to form a government or be instrumental in it. I want to see the Otaku Party back on top like in its golden days."

CEO Lewis and Daniel to shape NRI Up
Posted Image

Founder and Longtime CEO Lewis and Daniel of North Republics Industry, who both founded the company and became CEO on July 28th 2012, said that he wants to build NRI up even higher and shape it up. "For too long it has been a one man show trying to run a multiple companies, divisions, and offices at once. It is too much for one person to handle without some things being neglected and falling inactive."

North Republic Industries, the oldest active company in the region, has many child companies including The Messenger, the First Regional Bank of Anime, the Galley-Law Company, and several others. As such Lewis and Daniel is planning on hiring new staff for most of these, however he said that for the most part The Messenger will remain solely his work, while he would use The Messenger's Scout to publish other writers work. Already though a new Bank President of the First Regional Bank of Anime has been hired and that is Randomly Named States, so congratulations in gonging the NRI family.

Lewis and Daniel also talked about writing up a charter for NRI and have the Board of Directors play a bigger role in the company. Of course only time can tell if this will happen and if it will be lasting. However Lewis and Daniel said that "NRI needs to be the best company out there, the biggest, the richest, and the best. For that I need help, as I can't run it all." With the new hiring CEO Lewis and Daniel is looking for a CFO to help in managing the companies financial records, which should help and get the company better organized.

So time will tell, but we hope the best for Chief Executive Officer Lewis and Daniel.

Also if people want to give suggestions for The Messenger, what articles to write, what anime to review, if you'd like something special, something new etc.

Fate/Zero

Fate/Zero --- This review will go over both seasons of this anime (Fate/Zero and Fate/Zero Second Season) which aired in 2011 and 2012. Fate/zero is a prequel to Fate/Stay Night.

The Story is the Holy Grail War where several different people compete to try and win the Holy Grail that is said to grant a miracle to the person who gets it. To do this the people competing use magic to summon heroic spirits from the past to now be their servants and fight for them to get the grail. Each heroic spirit comes in and gets a class and has their own abilities based on what happened to them and their class.

The Story is very interesting like a mystery almost as you learn more and more about the other people in it and as you go forward and to see who will win the grail and how. It sheds light on many different subjects and themes in doing this while trying to keep you entertained as well. At times though it can get a bit eh at times especially when it all feels like setting up for something else. However when it gets going its going good I think.

The Characters are key here in this anime as each has their own backstory, motives, desires, weaknesses, sins, and everything else. You learn more as the characters develop and change too not just the masters but the heroic servants as well. In fact my favorite character was Rider and also his master Waver. So good and fun.

The music wasn't amazing I thought, however it can still get good at times. The opening was alright. Some will like it more than others but that is expected.

The voice acting for the English dub was good, they matched well and I have no complaints really.

Overall it is a decently good anime. However at times it felt like too much time was on set up rather than on plot or anything else. It has its flaws I think, however in the end it proves that it can be an enjoyable anime and that some will love it. For me though my favorite part was Rider.

Redline

Redline --- A movie made in 2009.

The Story is about a driver name JP who wants to drive and drive on the Redline (the biggest and best race ever). However he got involved in some trouble, along with his mechanic, with the mafia. The mafia wants him to rig matches and the such. However there is also this girl that JP likes.

Now the story is good if your just looking at the story, but then this movie is also crazy and so that also spills over into the story. Other than that it is hard to describe really, I mean the story is there and you know about and there are different plots and things but at the same time, your not always focusing on the story or plot but your just driving and trying to get out of the way of a bomb.

The Characters are really funny and cool, JP is a solid character as are most of the other key ones. In terms of development all the key characters really do develop and change through this race and the end up on the other side being much better for it. The relationship of them are also cool.

The art is unique, and different while also being based on familiar work. However the first 10 minutes or so can really put you off because of how different and crazy everything is. However you do get used to it and start like it. One thing that is artful in it is when they go really fast they start to stretch the artwork to try and show it even more. However it really is a key feature in this movie I think.

The music is well done. I can't remember much of the tracks or anything but I did like it. Though it would take some listing to for it to perhaps stay in your head, or perhaps you only have to listen to it again to remember it.

The voice acting for the english dub, was really well done, all the characters were good and blended well. Enough said.

Overall what you have here is a crazy movie at times that above all else is super and amazingly enjoyable. It makes you laugh, get into it, hope for the best, and is just so crazy and fun that the enjoyment out weights anything else I think. So overall it was a good movie and I really liked watching it.

Great Teacher Onizuka

Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) --- I'm doing some back tacking here but I thought that I should give this anime a review and bring it up again to talk about because I thought it would be good and nice. Now GTO aired from 1999 to 2000.

GTO is about an ex bike gang leader who decides that he wants to become a teacher because of the girls. So he isn't completely reformed yet. As he is taken in as a teacher he is put in charge of the worst class in the school and through his own methods he must work to straighten them out and give life lessons along the way.

The Story is very good actually if you thought it would be shallow, it actually is much deeper and well developed than that. While it is very funny at times since it is a slice of life and a comedy however it doesn't fail to give problems that the students face and then Onizuka who tries to fix them and bond with the class and do all he can even though he doesn't really have to. It goes into these problems both of the past and the present and how they overcome them, all while Onizuka is taking his own road here.

The Characters are amazing and really are key. Onizuka especially as one of my favorite characters in anime is funny, amazing, silly, and also a hardworker and willing to do what it takes and help others, most of the time. He is a really likable character and is well developed. However more than that several members of the class are also well developed and are key characters as well including some other characters like Onizuka's friend, another teacher, and the vice principal. Overall development is very good and by the end of it all you can really look and see and notice the changes.

The art does look older than I think that it lets on to be, maybe. It does look like 90s anime I think, but also that part of the 2000s as well. It can take a bit to get used to it but once you do it is just really good, and I think goes well. I really don't have any problems with it.

The Music!!!! Amazing the first opening and all the endings and the music in between amazing, memorable, and just awesome. Now I didn't really like the second opening but you might... or might not. However I think that the music here is just so good and just makes you want to listen to it, have it as a ringtone (I did this), and you know!

The voice acting, having watched the English dub is great, I for the most part didn't have any problems with it and really like Onizuka's voice and think that its a great match and blends well.

The ending now... the very ending I wasn't a fan of. However it wasn't so bad that it ruined the anime for me or made it so that I can't rewatch it.

Overall the anime is amazing and great and yeah! I highly recommend it because not only for almost everything above but also the enjoyment factor which I think is higher than anything else. I totally enjoyed this anime, and it was amazing.
