Who I Like On YouTube
Posted Image

This article I thought that I would go through some of my favorite YouTubers and give my take on them, what I like about them what I might not. Just anything really. I thought that it would be a good article so here it is, I will group them into kind of categories for you.

Japan
Abroadin Japan --- Great channel about Chris Broad who was a JET for 2-3 years in Japan and is still currently in Japan for the time trying to build a media empire. He has many useful videos for those wanting to go to Japan both for JET and anything, such as tips, instructions, and more. However he also expands over and makes a lot a videos that deal with culture in Japan and things about it, he also has done interesting places and really his experiences in Japan. He is hilarious, absolutely, even if your not interested in Japan or JET I still highly recommend his channel

Daniel Zacarias --- I just started watching him and to be fair he doesn't have a lot of video but what he does have so far is designed to give his experiences and tips about living in Japan and the JET program. He really helps give some good tips and his experiences are neat to listen too.

Myargonauts Jason --- Jason was a JET for the maximum 5 years and then after a break went to become an English professor at a Japanese college. His videos are a variety, he has a great series about the JET program giving advise on how to apply, how to prepare, and so much. He gives videos on his teaching, and some of his experiences and vlogs. One of my favorite videos that he puts out are his driving videos where he is just driving in Japan while talking. Lately though he has made the switch to podcasts where he really talks about anything from movies to anything. He has some great videos and I really like them.

Sharla in Japan --- Just recently subbed to her and she seems to share more of her experiences in Japan than anything else. But I haven't dived too deep into her channel, that said what I have seen is good.

Sumo
Jason's All-Sumo channel --- Same Jason as before, however here he is filming the top sumo matches most days in HD. He puts out videos when ever the sumo tournament starts, and sometimes has some contests. His videos are great for their length in showing more than just the action while he also gives his own commentary and also plays the English commentary form NHK.

Kintamayama --- Here he posts Sumo videos but puts up only the action, that said he does all of the matches in the top division in one video. So you get to see everyone but the quality isn't as good as Jason's videos. He also puts up subtitles for his remarks and to tell what wrestler is who.

Anime
Lord Peothra /Peothra -- The Fat Jerk, he is an anime reviewer who is really good. He gives pretty good reviews of anime but they aren't elaborate. He is just basically talking to the camera and going through all the major aspects of the anime and talks about somethings more in depth. Now he had problems with YT and blip because of claims which is a damn shame, not all of his videos are still up but those that are are good. He isn't active currently but he said that he would be getting back into it soon.

Glass Reflection --- Much more elaborate now a days. He gives good reviews of anime and goes in depth with a lot of things, and has his own preferences and the such. There are somethings of his I'm not fond of and others that I like, but he is active and overall gives good reviews.

The Anime Man --- I haven't dived too deep into all that he does, but he puts up a lot of videos, not many anime reviews but more on other anime things and games and stuff I think. He talks about anime issues and makes some funny videos. He seems alright.

Did You Know Anime --- Gives fun facts and triva about anime shows. Some facts are very interesting while others pointless meaningless and the such.

Video Games
Angry Joe --- Great, I love Angry Joe's game reviews they are so well done and in depth and he goes all out to talk about them and makes it entertaining in the process, even his much older reviews. He gives great points, tries to show his points, and also sometimes reenacts them. He is sometimes angry which can be funny and tries to stand up to gaming companies for terrible practices. Recently he hasn't been doing as many reviews but more twitch streams and other things like impressions and things. He gives great interviews for the most part and has a great channel most of the time.

JonTronShow --- JonTron is hilarious, he seems to be more intent with making you laugh than reviewing games - though he does do that in part - however he is just funny. His videos are great for the most part, and he even does some non game things once in a while. Very funny is you can go watch some complied reactions of Jon and they are hilarious.

PeanutButterGamer --- Ah PBG, great channel with really funny videos. He tried to get a balance of review and comedy, I feel. He mainly goes for games, has gone off and done some game related things. He likes Zelda, Harvest Moon, and more. Some of his newer videos I'm not as fond with like his older ones, I'm not sure why though.

ProJared --- Can be funny but seems more interested in giving you a review than anything else. He mainly focuses on RPGs but more JRPG like than western RPGs. He does other reviews too, and his videos are good even if I won't play the game.

Lazy Game Reviews --- Very funny and gives great reviews and looks. He really like the Sims, DOS games, and other things. He does thrifting videos which I really like, and more. He puts out some great videos and some interesting ones like company history, oddware, hardware, and more. I really suggest checking him out because there's more to meet the eye.

Yandere Dev --- The developer of Yandere simulator, he has this voice, this voice that's just something. Anyways it is interesting to stay up todate on yandere sim.

ZeromasterReviews --- While he reviews games he also does a lot of toys and other things as well, like anime once in a blue moon it seems. He does put out some good videos and is a small channel but some of his things don't interest me.

DidYouKnowGaming? --- Gives fun facts and trivia about games which can be very interesting at times and just so meaningless at others.

PushingUpRoses --- A friend of LGR. I haven't dived too deep with her but she is good giving some good reviews but also some good LPs.

Music
LeeandLie --- She does full song dubbing, I believe, of anime songs from Spice and Wolf to Sword Art Online. She has a good voice and puts out some great song dubs.

Sapphire --- Much more selective about what gets a full anime dub song, most of her's are short like opening short at 1.30 minutes. However she still has a good voice and puts out good dubs.

Smooth McGroove --- He does acapella versions of game songs, mainly game songs. He is really good as he does all the parts and you can see that with each of his faces. He also likes his cat which shows up every episode. He also has done a few parody songs which are really good.

Taylor Davis --- Does violin versions of a lot of anime and video game songs. She is very good too.

Nonononoki --- Does piano versions of anime songs.

Garud Amano --- Inactive to beat it, but did put up a lot of beautiful anime songs.

Movies
Cinema Sins --- I avoided them for a while because I thought that they would try to make me hate my favorite movies but that is not. They point out flaws in movies like oh, saying you can't open a cage with magic but the key is in the slot already. Very funny things sometimes.

League of Super Critics --- Mainly only for the Nostalgic Critic who is very good and goes really in depth. However he walks you through almost the entire movie giving so many spoilers and the such that Its hard to watch for anything that you want to watch yourself. However if you've already watched it or not wanting to or something then he gives some good videos.

Other
thechesswebsite --- They can really help your chess game, however it can be really hard to adapt their movies because most of them require your opponent playing to an exact point and way, which most people I have played against don't do, plus memorization. But if you can adapt some of the strategy and learn some of these they can really help.

Tpindell --- makes some funny videos.

Yellow Productions --- Travel videos. He's alright, sometimes creepy and the such but gives some short nice videos of places. You wonder how he does it, travel to all these places.

LIBERTY NEWS IS NOW HIRING!!!

The Otaku Party
Posted Image

A revival is happening in the Otaku Party just as long time Chancellor Lewis and Daniel has wanted. They recently got on Senator Libertarian Washington and new citizen Gorbon, and were able to wake up a few of their older members. Now that they their base is awake and ready Chancellor Lewis and Daniel has opened up elections for party offices that was overdue for some time. However this time Chancellor Lewis and Daniel who has been chancellor of the party since its formation in March 2014 has decided not to run for another term as Chancellor. He said in an exclusive interview that "I had been planning to step down for a while now, and let newer blood take over, but I was always asked to stay. Now that it is clear others are willing to take the torch, I am willing to pass it on."

Lewis and Daniel who had been Overlord of the Imperial Democratic Party (the predecessor of the Otaku Party) from January to March 2014 and then Chancellor for the Otaku Party since then has worked with 1 vice overlord and 4 Vice Chancellors in his time and over seen many achievements of the party like holding the majority in the senate for several consecutive month and served as Majority Leader as well. He oversaw two Otaku Presidents get elected back to back and worked hard to make the Otaku Party what it was. Now he says "It is time I help, that is why I am running as Vice Chancellor instead."

However when asked what he wants for the party Lewis and Daniel said "I want to see the Otaku Party back as the majority int he Senate and then for it to form a government or be instrumental in it. I want to see the Otaku Party back on top like in its golden days."

CEO Lewis and Daniel to shape NRI Up
Posted Image

Founder and Longtime CEO Lewis and Daniel of North Republics Industry, who both founded the company and became CEO on July 28th 2012, said that he wants to build NRI up even higher and shape it up. "For too long it has been a one man show trying to run a multiple companies, divisions, and offices at once. It is too much for one person to handle without some things being neglected and falling inactive."

North Republic Industries, the oldest active company in the region, has many child companies including The Messenger, the First Regional Bank of Anime, the Galley-Law Company, and several others. As such Lewis and Daniel is planning on hiring new staff for most of these, however he said that for the most part The Messenger will remain solely his work, while he would use The Messenger's Scout to publish other writers work. Already though a new Bank President of the First Regional Bank of Anime has been hired and that is Randomly Named States, so congratulations in gonging the NRI family.

Lewis and Daniel also talked about writing up a charter for NRI and have the Board of Directors play a bigger role in the company. Of course only time can tell if this will happen and if it will be lasting. However Lewis and Daniel said that "NRI needs to be the best company out there, the biggest, the richest, and the best. For that I need help, as I can't run it all." With the new hiring CEO Lewis and Daniel is looking for a CFO to help in managing the companies financial records, which should help and get the company better organized.

So time will tell, but we hope the best for Chief Executive Officer Lewis and Daniel.

Also if people want to give suggestions for The Messenger, what articles to write, what anime to review, if you'd like something special, something new etc.

Fate/Zero

Fate/Zero --- This review will go over both seasons of this anime (Fate/Zero and Fate/Zero Second Season) which aired in 2011 and 2012. Fate/zero is a prequel to Fate/Stay Night.

The Story is the Holy Grail War where several different people compete to try and win the Holy Grail that is said to grant a miracle to the person who gets it. To do this the people competing use magic to summon heroic spirits from the past to now be their servants and fight for them to get the grail. Each heroic spirit comes in and gets a class and has their own abilities based on what happened to them and their class.

The Story is very interesting like a mystery almost as you learn more and more about the other people in it and as you go forward and to see who will win the grail and how. It sheds light on many different subjects and themes in doing this while trying to keep you entertained as well. At times though it can get a bit eh at times especially when it all feels like setting up for something else. However when it gets going its going good I think.

The Characters are key here in this anime as each has their own backstory, motives, desires, weaknesses, sins, and everything else. You learn more as the characters develop and change too not just the masters but the heroic servants as well. In fact my favorite character was Rider and also his master Waver. So good and fun.

The music wasn't amazing I thought, however it can still get good at times. The opening was alright. Some will like it more than others but that is expected.

The voice acting for the English dub was good, they matched well and I have no complaints really.

Overall it is a decently good anime. However at times it felt like too much time was on set up rather than on plot or anything else. It has its flaws I think, however in the end it proves that it can be an enjoyable anime and that some will love it. For me though my favorite part was Rider.

Redline

Redline --- A movie made in 2009.

The Story is about a driver name JP who wants to drive and drive on the Redline (the biggest and best race ever). However he got involved in some trouble, along with his mechanic, with the mafia. The mafia wants him to rig matches and the such. However there is also this girl that JP likes.

Now the story is good if your just looking at the story, but then this movie is also crazy and so that also spills over into the story. Other than that it is hard to describe really, I mean the story is there and you know about and there are different plots and things but at the same time, your not always focusing on the story or plot but your just driving and trying to get out of the way of a bomb.

The Characters are really funny and cool, JP is a solid character as are most of the other key ones. In terms of development all the key characters really do develop and change through this race and the end up on the other side being much better for it. The relationship of them are also cool.

The art is unique, and different while also being based on familiar work. However the first 10 minutes or so can really put you off because of how different and crazy everything is. However you do get used to it and start like it. One thing that is artful in it is when they go really fast they start to stretch the artwork to try and show it even more. However it really is a key feature in this movie I think.

The music is well done. I can't remember much of the tracks or anything but I did like it. Though it would take some listing to for it to perhaps stay in your head, or perhaps you only have to listen to it again to remember it.

The voice acting for the english dub, was really well done, all the characters were good and blended well. Enough said.

Overall what you have here is a crazy movie at times that above all else is super and amazingly enjoyable. It makes you laugh, get into it, hope for the best, and is just so crazy and fun that the enjoyment out weights anything else I think. So overall it was a good movie and I really liked watching it.

Great Teacher Onizuka

Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) --- I'm doing some back tacking here but I thought that I should give this anime a review and bring it up again to talk about because I thought it would be good and nice. Now GTO aired from 1999 to 2000.

GTO is about an ex bike gang leader who decides that he wants to become a teacher because of the girls. So he isn't completely reformed yet. As he is taken in as a teacher he is put in charge of the worst class in the school and through his own methods he must work to straighten them out and give life lessons along the way.

The Story is very good actually if you thought it would be shallow, it actually is much deeper and well developed than that. While it is very funny at times since it is a slice of life and a comedy however it doesn't fail to give problems that the students face and then Onizuka who tries to fix them and bond with the class and do all he can even though he doesn't really have to. It goes into these problems both of the past and the present and how they overcome them, all while Onizuka is taking his own road here.

The Characters are amazing and really are key. Onizuka especially as one of my favorite characters in anime is funny, amazing, silly, and also a hardworker and willing to do what it takes and help others, most of the time. He is a really likable character and is well developed. However more than that several members of the class are also well developed and are key characters as well including some other characters like Onizuka's friend, another teacher, and the vice principal. Overall development is very good and by the end of it all you can really look and see and notice the changes.

The art does look older than I think that it lets on to be, maybe. It does look like 90s anime I think, but also that part of the 2000s as well. It can take a bit to get used to it but once you do it is just really good, and I think goes well. I really don't have any problems with it.

The Music!!!! Amazing the first opening and all the endings and the music in between amazing, memorable, and just awesome. Now I didn't really like the second opening but you might... or might not. However I think that the music here is just so good and just makes you want to listen to it, have it as a ringtone (I did this), and you know!

The voice acting, having watched the English dub is great, I for the most part didn't have any problems with it and really like Onizuka's voice and think that its a great match and blends well.

The ending now... the very ending I wasn't a fan of. However it wasn't so bad that it ruined the anime for me or made it so that I can't rewatch it.

Overall the anime is amazing and great and yeah! I highly recommend it because not only for almost everything above but also the enjoyment factor which I think is higher than anything else. I totally enjoyed this anime, and it was amazing.
